What we actually do

We are a chauffeur service, not a rideshare app and not a broker who disappears once the money clears. When you book with BlackRyde.com you are dealing with one company for the whole journey: we quote it, we confirm it in writing, we brief the chauffeur, and if something changes at 3am you call us and reach a person who can see the booking.

Across Ontario we operate our own vehicles and our own chauffeurs. Beyond it, we place your journey with an operator selected from the memberships below and hold them to the brief we would give our own drivers. The difference is invisible to you by design — same confirmation, same all-inclusive fare, same phone number. The associated network page lists every brand involved.

The two things we will not move on

The price is the price

Every quote is all-inclusive: tolls, taxes, parking, airport access charges, fuel and gratuity are already inside it. It does not increase because the traffic was bad, because the flight was late, or because it started raining. The only things that change a fare are things you ask for — an extra stop, more waiting time, a bigger vehicle — and we quote those before we charge them.

The chauffeur is a professional

Licensed for the class of vehicle they drive, insured, background-checked and dressed for business. They know the airport’s current pickup arrangements, they carry a name board, they handle the luggage, and they do not make conversation you did not start.

Memberships that mean something

We are a member of the Limousine Worldwide Directory (LWD) and the Limousine Association International (LAI). Those memberships are how we find and vet operators abroad, and they are also what we are measured against — on licensing, insurance, vehicle safety and chauffeur conduct.
